The stunning face, done in all black with rusty-orange eyes, has a very long and enlarged nose representing the hornbill bird. The forehead has a vertical serrated ridge. The periphery has a double rattan strip. A few  of the original cassowary feathers remain. Fiber tassels on the ears.
