A compact and impressiive mask.The face has incised designs around the eyes and mouth, and the nose is carved to resemble a bird's head and beak. The pigments of brown, red and yellow are faded or painted over. The original periphery consists of three rows of rattan, surrounded by an unusual second trim made of knotted and braided fiber attached to the rattan.
