The artist has carved a sea turtle and embellished the carapace with a medley of sea life with extensive detail. The centerpiece is an eagle ray and it is surrounded by a squid and a dolphin and a reef fish. The wood is Solomon Island rosewood (Pterocarpus indicus) this particular piece having a wonderful caramel tone.
