Though Isa usually does her portraits in numerous sittings, this one was done “live”. She captures the loveliness of a young village girl during her first pregnancy.
Isa Maria is known as Kauai’s mermaid artist. A mermaid herself, she has been avidly drawing people since she was a small child.
