KAUAI artisan Frank Pullano creates modern heirlooms from an ancient tradition, in these superbly finished Koa paddles crafted in the most meticulous manner resulting in an awesome display of high compression Koa brilliance, and highlighting the beautiful quality of this endemic Hawaiian hardwood. These timbers are all of very limited availability and are sourced from heights of 5000 feet and above. His paddles are direct descendants of the ones Tahitian settlers used to row their outriggers to Hawaii in the 14th century.
